HP challenges YouTube video site Gabble

The growing popularity of video sharing sites, HP has also launched a video sharing site, named Gabble. Although the video-sharing Web site, but Gabble, however, differs from YouTube, it will pay more attention to privacy protection.
YouTube did not entirely open, Gabble video only invited users or only specific groups can view. Hewlett-Packard said in the privacy Gabble positioning, so families and businesses to attract customers, many home users do not want to be open to all private video. For enterprise users, this privacy protection can be turned into a company makes video collaboration tools. The site is currently still in Beta stage.
Gabble is one of HP’s Internet strategy, Hewlett-Packard chief technology officer, said: “These services can be achieved if the rapid development, we will continue to support them. If not, then we will close them at any time.”
