AMD released the first 45nm dual-core processor technology On June 1st, respectively, under the new Phenom II X2 and Athlon II X2 series. Expected selling price is as follows.
First of all, Phenom II X2 550 BE, black-box version, code named Callisto, AM3 interface, frequency 3.1GHz (200MHz × 15.5). HT bus frequency and the North Bridge 2GHz, 2 cache 2 × 512KB, complete the three-tier cache 6MB. TDP 80W, support DDR2-1066/800 and DDR3-1600/1333.

Second model Athlon II X2 250, code-named Regor, AM3 interface, frequency 3.0GHz (200MHz × 15), HT bus and North Bridge frequency 2GHz. 2 cache 2 × 1MB, non-three-level cache, TDP 65W. Support DDR2-1066/800 and DDR3-1600/1333.

The estimated price of 87 U.S. dollars, targeting low-end market, but the most high-end than the existing dual-core Athlon X2 7850 BE expensive, the latter for 69 U.S. dollars.
